Copperas Cove ISD parents and guardians will soon be able to view their students' STAAR results through Skyward Family Access.

Monday, during a Special Called Meeting of the CCISD Board of Trustees, an additional $500 retention incentive was approved for all CCISD employees for the 2026-27 school year.

The Texas Elementary Principals & Supervisors Association announced that the student councils at Fairview/Jewell Elementary and Martin Walker Elementary received TEPSA’s Student Leadership Awards, recognizing the work these groups do outside of the classroom to improve the school community.

After a trying year away from home due to flood damage, students at WLE took a moment to thank key people in their campus getting repaired as the 2025-26 school year drew to a close.

Copperas Cove HS recognized almost 500 students for their academic achievements in their final year.

Almost 300 students were celebrated for academic excellence and accomplishments, including highest average in a content area, industry-based certfifications, American Citizenship Award and Academic UIL participation.

The Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustees approved the expansion of Capturing Kids’ Hearts for the 2026-27 school year.

At Central Texas College’s recent Spring 2026 commencement ceremony, 58 graduates were students from Copperas Cove High School earning one or more associate degrees, or an industry certification to help set them up for an exciting career after high school.

These graduates will be recognized at Thursday evening’s Senior Achievement Night award ceremony before embarking on their lives after high school.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has recognized CCHS as a 2025-26 My Texas Future School of Excellence, one of only three schools in Texas to earn this award.
